Job Description:
• .NET with EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document ) or Ticketing experience - Developer • EMD, PSS, Ticketing and Reservation experience • Design and develop new programs, analyze current programs and processes, and make recommendations which yield a more cost effective product. • Write, edit, and debug programs for the assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output. • Implement best practices in software development, such as documenting code, and other practices necessary for delivering sustainable and working software. • Make presentations for customer or client audiences or peers. • Troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing software, design and release fixes. • Collaborate with project team members throughout the entire software development life cycle, in understanding customer needs and creation of product requirement. • Responsible for quality and timeliness of assigned workload to agreed timelines, standards, and defined requirements. • Provide feedback to analysis/training staff about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation. • Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management. Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities: • .NET with EMD or Ticketing experience - Developer • EMD, PSS, Ticketing and Reservation experience • Good understanding of software technologies • Good understanding of object-oriented approach • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle • Strong analytical and logical skills to address work-related problems • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely • Good understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts. • Ability to "think outside the box". • Ability to prepare reports and examine setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. • Good knowledge of any database vendor versions. • Good knowledge of standard development tools. • Proficiency to use standard computing tools: word processor, spreadsheet, browser, email, and file compression software. • Self-motivated, team player, and result oriented • Good communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under tight project timelines • Passion to excel • Should take ownership of the assignments delegated • Ability to simultaneously work with multiple stakeholders across the organization Note :- EMD is a Tool used in Airline industry , Exposure to this tool is mandatory.
